Madelyn launched her own marketing company ten years ago. She works with various clients to extend their brands by creating unique, innovative and targeted strategies.
Among her various clients, Madelyn produces the annual Deal with It: A Women's Conference for MPTF (Motion Picture & Television Fund) for over 300 women in the entertainment industry. She also produces The Contenders event for Deadline Hollywood targeted to AMPAS and Guild voters. Additionally, she books 24 panels and over 100 speakers for the annual Produced By Conference for the PGA (Producers Guild of America). In 2008, Madelyn was responsible for the marketing and advertising campaign for the successful grand opening of the prestigious Landmark theatre in West LA.
Prior to forming MHA, Madelyn was the Chief Marketing Officer for Variety, one of the industry's leading trade publications. During her ten year tenure at Variety, she was responsible for publicity, promotions, event marketing, sponsorships, advertising, research and developing their print and online global branding strategy.
She was the first person in the paper's 100+ year history to hold the title of Chief Marketing Officer.
Prior to Variety, Madelyn had extensive experience in consumer branding, licensing, exhibition, sales and marketing working with a number of companies including Landmark Theatres, Sony Pictures, MGM/UA, AMC Theatres and The Coca-Cola Company.
